Tragedy of September 11, 2001

The World Trade Center Towers were hit by  two planes today

Seven thousand innocent victims, to heaven were sent away

Blinding smoke & dust of  110 stories crumbling with a thundering noise

While loss of lives makes us cry, we admire the rescuer’s poise

On this day 50,000 people went to WTC to perform Jihad

It is a Hadis that,” earning an honest living is jihad” ⁽¹⁾

Nineteen of Osama’s underlings thought they were doing jihad that day

They were committing a heinous crime, it was jihad in NO way

Terrorists from foreign lands have moved here ashore

United we will stand for our country, of that they can be sure

Just like Iblees breaks down to mean “one without a father”

Ladin breaks down to mean “one without a  religion” O’ brother

Osama bin Ladin acts like a descendant of Shimr and Yazid

Calls himself a Muslim, must have never really read Quran-eMajid

We lose all interest in our life with one or two deaths in our home

Imam Husain lost eighteen family members, and was left alone

Eighteen members in one afternoon were not the only ones to fall

Add another 54 loyal Ashabs, he lost 72 of them in all

Killing an Imam in a brutal way is the most heinous of all crimes

With vasila of Husain, may all survivors get sabar during these times

Maola Burhanuddin’s doa for ibadullah is just what was needed

With his doa the fields of peace among nations will be seeded

In the House of Lords, Maola Burhanuddin noted in a moving piece,

That love, compassion, patience, tolerance, and forgiveness will nurture this Peace

With Husain’s maatam we pray for Maola Burhanuddin’s Umar Darazi

May he live happy and healthy ta qiyamat as our Rehbar and Qazi
