Iroquois Class Destroyers

In the 1970's, four Iroquois Class ships were commissioned for anti-submarine
purposes. This later changed when the ships went through TRUMP (Tribal Class
Update and Modernization Project) which was to refit the ships for command
and control uses. The Algonquin was the first to go through the program.
Even though the Iroquois Class ships are now command and control they still
are armed and have a very good air defence.
