Suede's introduction

1981 : suede 的主音 brett anderson 及低音結他手 mat osman 最初組成了 geoff，後改名為 suave &
elegant。
- 1986: 加入結他手 justine frischman。
- 1989: 以登報形式徵募另一位結他手 bernard butler。當時以 drum machine 代替鼓手。
- 1991: justine 以繼續學業為理由退出樂隊，同年 simon gilbert 加入成為鼓手，樂隊改名為 suede。brett 及 bernard 不和消息相繼傳出。
- 1992: suede 被音樂雜誌 melody maker 喻為「全英最佳樂隊」( the best uk band in britian)。
- 1993: 推出首張同名大碟 "suede"，成為 fastest- selling debut album，並為他們帶來第一個mercury music prize。
- 1994: bernard 在灌錄 dog man star 的過程中被勒令離隊，其後發表 " i am not insane, i m happy" 的聲明。推出第二張大碟，並於同年 9 月加入年僅 17 歲的 richard oakes ，取代 bernard 成為新結他手。- 1996: 推出第三張唱片 "coming up"，並加入neil codling 成為 keyboards 手。
- 1998: 推出 b-side 精選集 "sci-fi lullabies"。
- 1999: 潛伏 3年後，推出第四張大碟 "head music"。
- 2001: keyboard 手 neil codling 於3月因病離隊，由前 strangelove 成員 alex lee 取代其位置；11月樂隊推出 "lost in tv" dvd，收錄 17 首 suede 的 mtv，包括 "the drowners"、"lazy"、"she's in fashion"及新派台作品 "simon"。
