Obviously first you must have the AIM software installed on your computer. To get it, click here.

Windows instructions:
1. Choose icon and hold down the right mouse button.
2. Select "Save Picture As..." OR "Save Target As..." and place icon in a folder on your desktop.
3. From the Edit Preference menu in your AOL Instant Messenger, select Buddy Icon and chose "Browse PC..." click on the downloaded file and press OK.

Mac instructions:
1. Choose icon and hold down your mouse button for a few seconds.
2. Chose "Save this image as..." OR "Download link to disk" and place icon on your desktop.
3. From the AOL Instant Messenger Edit menu....select Preferences and select Buddy Icons.
4 . Click on "Reveal Icons Folder" and once open, drag your saved icon into this window. Select icon from the pull down menu below.
