大部分香港中小型企業 (SME) 日常面對劇烈的國內外競爭。 雖然企業規劃和內部控制責任被授予與董事或股東, 但為了加強競爭力及有效風險管理, 他們可以尋求合格的會計師並獲取他們的專業意見, 例如, 覆核及評估他們的內部控制政策是否有效管理他們面對的關鍵風險, 其中主要包括 -

1) 有關的步驟是否達到指定目標並且合乎經濟效益;
2) 實際上的程序是否真正依從指定的內部控制政策;
3) 內部控制政策有否潛在違反有關法規。

本人在會計師事務所及其他企業工作共十年, 在日常工作中除了審核各種各樣的公司和集團帶給我不少經驗關於分析公司的整體狀況, 財政表現, 內部控制系統等, 我還延伸到評估他們的企業問題譬如他們的商業環境, 風險及擬定的策略使我瞭解到他們的重要的成功因素以配合我不斷學習的哲學。

過去我接觸到的行業包括有貿易, 製造業(主要在中華人民共和國), 研究與發展, 物產投資, 建築學, 零售的, 非盈利協會, 運輸, 投資, 證券投資, 電腦, 工程, 餐館, 財務和代理服務等等。

因為本人以非全職身份成為執業會計師/核數師並利用家庭作辦公室已減低不少的費用,特別是辦公室租金及職員薪金等, 促使我能夠以一般中小型企業可以負擔得起的價格提供我的專業服務給所有我的寶貴客戶。

Most small and medium sized enterprises (SME) in Hong Kong are facing intense competition among the local and foreign competitors. Despite the business planning and controlling responsibilities are vested to the shareholders, it is advisable that they should periodically seek professional advices from qualified accountants, to assess the effectiveness of internal control procedures deployed to manage the key risks faced by the enterprises, including:

1) the effective and efficient use of resources;

2) the compliance of internal control procedures stipulated;

3) to comply with the applicable laws and regulations.

I have worked in Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) firm and multinational enterprises for about 10 years. During the employment, the scope of my work apart from auditing various kinds of companies and groups independently to bring me substantial experience in analysing the overall picture of companies from technical issues including their financial performances and positions, internal control systems adopted and regulatory framework compliances, I also extended to evaluate their business issues such as their business environments, risks encountered and strategies formulated which is essential for me to understand their critical success factor so as to aid my continuous business learning.

The nature of businesses or sectors to which I have in-depth exposure, including but not limited to trading, manufacturing (mainly in PRC), research and development, property investment, architecture, retailing, non-profit association, transportation and logistic, investment holding, securities investment and trading, I.T. support, engineering, restaurants, finance and agency services.

As a Certified Public Accountant practises on non full time basis without incurring heavy overhead costs, in particular, office rental and staff salaries...etc, leading to a competitive price for my professional services rendered to all of my valued clients.

Developing services

I am currently focusing on the opportunities gained in People’s Republic of China after her accession to World Trade Organization (W.T.O.) as well as alliance with Hong Kong under Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (C.E.P.A.) and keeping up with its language and regulatory frameworks including accounting, taxation and economics laws. In light of it, I am prepared to attempt the CICPA examination in order to gain sufficient professional knowledge and qualification for me to resolve any challenge faced along with its investment.
