With a very short range (eg 60cm) the smallest
movement will cause a musical change so you can play music by nodding
twitching a finger - even blinking! If the range is extended (eg 6m) the
music can be played by large movements. The machine comes with 30 'sound
worlds' programmed into the machine. Users can get straight into the
remarkable educational recreational and therapeutic potential of the system
with a minimum of technical understanding. |

soundbeam. Turn any switch into any sound you like. Great for groupwork
using the storytelling "sound worlds" or to add a beat to the wonderful

Instead of a Keyboard consider a Tone Generator
to produce the music that the Soundbeam calculates. You will also need
Speakers if you choose this route. |

Like all MIDI compatable keyboards this will
produce the full range of musical sounds that the Soundbeam Calculates, and
allow a musician to play along. The Keyboard has a huge potential for
creativity, we suggest the Tone Generator as a simpler alternative. |
