Brisbane Council draws fire from activists

Environmental activists have been unhappy with the Brisbane City Council for their efforts to conserve the Brisbane River. A study conducted last year by the Moreton Bay Waterways and Catchments Partnership, found the Brisbane River to be highly polluted and graded the river a "D minus".
