Today, when I was surfing the Net,
I found that there was an interesting competition
called "2005 Organic farming competition".
I want to join it because I want to be a good farmer.
But I don't know what is organic farming.
I asked Mum and Dad what is organic farming.
Dad said that "organic" refers to the agricultural
systems used to produce food and fiber.
And
organic farming do not use toxic chemical
pesticides
or fertilizers for crops growing,
while no artificial, genetic and harmful chemicals
or food for livestock feeding. The principle of
this agriculture is based on the development of
biological diversity, the maintenance and
replenishment of soil fertility. The primary goal of
this farming is to optimize the health and
productivity of interdependent communities
of soil life, plants, animals and people.
