The revised topic

In recent years, the problem of child sexual abuse has aroused people’s concern. Only the victims themselves, but not others can fully understand the unresolved hurts from being sexually abused. They have wounds that are yet to be healed, inner voices that are yet to be heard. All these things can deeply influence their physical and psychological developments. This problem does draw my attention and that’s why I want to carry on a study on “Child sexual abuse: Its long term and short term effect on child development” It aims to let people realize the hurts of the victims and learn consequences of sexual abuse on child development.

In the next few weeks, I will continue searching information on this topic through internet and books and try to explore different ways of organizing my sources. I hope I can learn more about the techniques of searching information, organizing data and writing a good academic paper.
