Four school teams took part in the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition 2002. One of the four teams won the Best Booth Presentation Award in the Initial Judging Session.

Moreover, three teams were selected entered the final judging session. They presented their projects to judges and audience at the  Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre . One of them won the Second Runner-up, one of them won the Honorable Mention.
