PAEDOPHILIA :
A Fundamental Major Crime Innocent Children
Need Protection From.
Introduction :
Before, people used to neglect the fact that an adult can sexual abuse a child because this is something shameful to discuss about and unimaginable to think about. So that kind of event has not been spoken as it wasn・t treated and considered as a reality. However, when the evidence really happened for real with one・s eyes open, people are all aware of the regularly increase of sexual abuse of Children nowadays. Most of the illegal sexual cases are mainly Paedophilia, which has been existed for a long time and which has been found to be a widespread practice within all societies.
But what it is interesting to mention about is that Parents never mention about the idea of child pornography and sexual abuse in front of their children. They think that their children will always be safe, unlike those abandoned street orphans who most of the time can be easily captured by bad men who I surname them as :dangerous predators;. They acknowledged that as long as :my children are at home, they will be safe;. But in fact, it isn・t that secure as we can recall the cases in Hong Kong about the Philippines・ maids who maltreated some children by violence and sexual abuse or even the members of a same family with the same blood and who raped their nephews/nieces or sons/daughters. Moreover, even in a church, children can easily be abused by priests who behaved as :virtue person;, but some are actually hiding themselves of their real identities. Paedophilia is clearly serious and children need to be protected from it; parental knowledge of the problem is not enough.
Child victims of sexual abuse :
It has over the past 20 years appear to be the seriousness of the effects of sexual abuse perpetrated against children has been talked about. The effects of sexual abuse can be multi-fold, and affect many areas of a survivor・s psychological functioning. Victims of sexual abuse often require long-term psychotherapy to enable them to cope with the psychological damage that the offending behaviour has caused. Many paedophiles have themselves been victims of child abuse of a sexual nature.
Paedophilia sexual attraction for pre-pubertal children, is usually taken to mean the attraction of adults to children. It does not have to include actual sexual contact with children, merely sexual desire for them. It is largely a male phenomenon.
Paedophilia is classed as a paraphilia, meaning a form of sexual behaviour expressed by individuals who are sexually aroused by inappropriate stimuli, that is to say those which are socially unacceptable.
Sexual difficulties of this kind overall are seen as falling into two types: sexual dysfunction (unable to function sexually), or sexual deviance. Paraphiliacs are usually considered to be of the sexually deviant type.
A paedophilic relationship is often marked by domination of the child by the adult and may be forced upon the child by the adult. Because of the lack of sexual maturity in the child (who is still developing his or her sexuality) he or she is likely to be emotionally and physically damaged by such relations. In recent times this form of sexual behaviour has been shown to cause serious damage to the development of individuals. The growth of the market for child pornography is also of recent growing concern as a link with paedophilia.
Incest :
It is generally considered that there are two major types of paedophile activity; incestuous and non-incestuous. Incestuous paedophiles are those persons who are sexually aroused by children within their own family : Paedophilia relating to incest is considered and seen as illegal. Modern law defines the degrees of blood relationship within which sexual relations and marriage are strictly forbidden. These statutes also provide for the punishment of incest as a crime. Recent studies have indicated that incest, although rarely discussed, is a constant feature of modern society. Sexual molestation by family members, for example is considered a form of child abuse.
