Odin

You must searh out Odin's lair inside the Centra Ruins and defeat him if you want him to jion your cause. Odin is not a controllable GF. Once he joing you, he'll randomly appear at the strart of about 1 in every 10 battles(except boss fights).Riding through the battlefield on his mighty ateed, Odin uses his sword Zentetsuken to cut your enemies in two. This attack kills all enemies on the battlefied.

Phoenix

You can only summon Phoenix by using a Phoenix Pinion during a battle.When the Phoenix appears, it revives any K.Oed characters and restores soem of their HP. Phoenix Pinions are hard to come by, but once your've summoned Phoenix there is a random chance that it will appear again later when your party is in trouble.

Boko the Chocobo

As you probbly already know, Chocobos are back in Final Fantasy VIII. And once again you can summon a Chocobo to aid oyu in battle. You won't be able to do this until you've solved a puzzzle in at least one of the many Chocobo Forests scattered around the world. During a battle, use a Gysahl Green to lure the Chocoboo into attracking your enemies.

Moomba

Moomba are decent fighters due to their massive paws and razor-sharp claws, but it sure doesn't seem like fighting is the first thing they have on their minds. You can call upon a Moonba by using a Friendship item in battle.

Gilgamesh

Near the end of Disc Three, Gilgamesh will appear if you already had Odin at that point. Gilgamesh is a lot like Odin in that you can't control him and he appears randomly. The biggest difference is that Gilgamesh can appear at any point during a battle(even Boss fights). What happens depends on which of his four sword .

Quezacotl

Detailed Location: When you first start the game. Go to Squall's study panel and activate it. Then go to tutorial. You will then recieve Quezcotl.

Shiva

Attack: Diamond Dust

Detailed Location: When you first start the game. Go to Squall's study panel and activate it. Then go to tutorial. You will then reciceve Shiva.

Ifrit

Elemental: Fire

Attack: Hell Fire

Detailed Location: During your pre-exam for the Dollet Mission you will be forced to fight Ifrit. When you kill him he will join your party.

Siren

Elemental: None

Attack: Silent Voice

Detailed Location: During the Dollet Field Exam you can draw Siren from Elvoret. Elvoret is the giant flying creature that blows Bidds and Wedge off of the Communications Tower.

Brother

Elemtental: Earth

Attack: Brotherly Love

Detailed Location: When you have to get your code number from the Tomb of the Unknown King you can get Brothers. This is very hard to navigate because you are always looking over Squall's shoulder.

Carbuncle

Detailed Location: During the assassination you have to save Rinoa from the Iguions. During the battle you can graw Carbuncle from them.

Detailed Location: After the fight with Bahamut. You can venture down into the depths of the Cente. On the bottom floor you will find a control panel in the middle of a tranquil scene. After activating the panel you will have to fight Ultimate Weapon. During the battle you can draw Eden.

Detailed Location: Once getting Oden at the Centra Ruins you can get Tonberry King. After battling 18 to 22 tonberry you will be forced into a battle with the Tonberry King. You do not have to kill all 18 to 22 tonberry in one sitting. Defeat the King and he will join the party.

Detailed Location: A small sesert island east of the Centra area is called Cactuar Island. This is home to Jumbo Cactuar. He is the huge green thing that pops up randomly on the world map. Only battle this once you are ready. Your best bet is to use Levianthan.

Detailed Location: Once you have the Ragnarok you will be able to get Bahamut. Go to the southwest corner of the map and searcg the area for a pile of rubble. Land the Ragnarok on the ped. You will then be able to access the Deep Sea Research Facility. Go into the place and you will notice a flashing blue pillar of light. When the pillar is glowing it will cause an extream number of random encounters. Move when it is not glowing. Once you get up to the core Bahamut will ask you question.

Detailed Location: While in Estar who should stop by Tears Point. Get as close to the center as you can and you will see sonething laying on the ground. Pick it up and you find it is a Solomn Ring. To use the rings you need, 6Steel Pipes, 6Malboro Tentacle, and 6Remedy+. You can just steal steel pipes. You can win or steal malboro tentacle from the malboros that inhabit Estar. And you get Remedy+ by using the Med Lv Up learned with Alexander.

Detailed Location: During the battle in Galbadian Garden at the end of the third disc you will be forced to fight Edea one more time. After the second battle with Seifer he will leave and Edea will take over. This is when draw Alexander.

Detailed Location: During the assault on Galbadian Garden in the main hall you will see a big beast. This is Cerberus. Defeat him and he eill join you. Make sure he does not cast triple on himself. If he does, use dispel.

Attack: Tsunami

Detailed Location: You can draw Levianthan during the battle with NORG. After you damage his pod enough it will open up. The thing inside is NORG. This is the creature from which you draw Levianthan.
