The chance of 'once-in-my-lifetime'

I first struggle whether putting this in 'My Apple' or 'My Blog'. But before that, I could hardly keep my nerves down ever since I knew that the first Apple Store in Europe is due to open in Autumn 2004 and they are looking for people!

I can't quite put this into words, and I can't imagine the excitement of a successful application, nor the disappointment if it turns out to be sour.
I have put my revision aside and start drafting a cover letter applying for the post 'Mac Specialist'. Guessing it's some kind of salesperson after reading the job description. Apparently, this is my dream to kick-off my career, although a good mate of mine found himself a place in the equity department of Goldman Sachs with a payroll of HKD 480000.
I have never been so serious before when applying for a job. I've been dreaming of living in London, working in Apple Store and doing my favourite course in St. Martins and stuff like that.
Exams is on, Frank. Back to reality.
