Chao, Beppe!
Beppe Signori is ALWAYS my favourite when he plays
in Lazio. The left-footed striker has made the decision to leave Serie A at the
end of the season when the contract runs out in
Bologna.
3 times Serie A Top Goal Scorer. 1993 (26 goals),
1994 (23) and 1996 (24). The fans favourite in Lazio, the Captain was sold to
Sampdoria in 1997 in exchange of Roberto Mancini when Sven Goren Eriksson took
charge Lazio. After suffering a bad injury in Sampdoria in the 1997 / 1998
season, he moved to Bologna to make the marks again in Serie A. He, among the
likes of Mancini, was the unlucky ones with Azzuri although he was in the squad
for the Italia World Cup 1994 campaign. His 'one-step' penalty against Brasil is
always the memorial
one.
