Restore Computer

If the computer becomes unstable, you can restore the system by using the following step:

Step 1: restart in MS-Dos mode (Shift F5)

Step 2: type scanreg/restore

Step 3: choose the day you want to restore

P.S: This is a very useful internal backup system.

Other small tips:

- use Start-up disk

- run scandisk, norton

- delete the files inside the temp foldder (C:\WINDOWS\TEMP)

2. Use anti-virus program (keyword: virus)
3. Hide your IP address (keywords: hide ip)

Speed Up Internet

Step 1

Adjust Control Panel: Choose Start/ Settings/
Contral Panel/ System/ device manager/ Ports/
Find communications Port (eg COM2)/ Properties/
Port Settings/ Change Bits per second to 921600/
Advanced/ Move transmitt and receive buffer to max

Step 2

Use notepad to open Windows\System.ini
Under [386Enh] add
Com2Buffer=1024
ForceLazyOff=C
MinTimeslice=20
WinTimeslice=100,50
(or Com4Buffer=1024)

Step 3

In dial-up networking, add %C0 into setting (Close error mode)
Then, enjoy the internet now...
