Early in the morning, our day started with the normal English lesson.

Then there came the exciting part in the afternoon -- the wild adventure in the Australia Zoo.  Do you know who Steve Irwin is?  He is the world-famous crocodile hunter and he owns the zoo.  Locating at the Sunshine Coast, it has got a lovely habitat for many Aussie animals like koalas, kangaroos, dingoes, foxes, Tasmanian devils and many more.  However, it was quite disappointing that we did not have enough time to visit all of them.

We fed the cattle, the sheep and the goats in Kidz Zoo.  In Roo Heaven, we could touch the kangaroos and wallabies.  We even saw two of the kangaroos mating twice!  The crocodile show was amazing too with the men feeding Argo and Cookies the crocodiles.  We all felt very excited and we could even hear our own heartbeats.

We observed that most of the students felt very excited when we saw the animals.  That was mainly because we can never see such animals in Hong Kong.  They were so close to us.  There were even baby lizards walking beside us.  Steve Irwin aims to use all his money to conserve the habitat of the animals.  After today¡¦s visit, we were deeply impressed by his brilliant ideas.  We will definitely try our very best to help him.

After the 4-hour trip to the zoo, we went on a barbie (Barbecue) with our host families.  The barbie was very nice with a lot of yummy food and a beautiful scenery.  We saw the sunset there and it was so romantic.  There were also many stars twinkling in the sky.

We enjoyed our night and were looking forward to another barbie.
