Today is 8th of August. In the morning, we gathered at the university for a day trip to Brisbane. We went to Brisbane with the other 3 Hong Kong schools by school bus. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach South Bank Parkland of Brisbane.
There are a beach, cafes and the Formal Garden. In the Formal Garden, there are a fountain, and a status of a cowboy and a dog beside him.
Then we went to the Science Museum on foot. We walked a very long way to arrive there. Most of us were really tired .In the science Museum, there have a lot of exhibitions of animals like the marine animals (whales, tortoises etc), dinosaurs and other reptiles. Also, there have some specimens of insects and mammals too.
We went our shopping happily and many of us bought a lot of things.
After about 2 hours, on our way to the assembly point, we saw a large and grand casino! We had never seen such a big casino before. Finally we went back to the university by school bus and we went home.
