Name : Tamaki Nami (玉置成實) (たまき なみ)

Born June 1, 1988, Nami Tamaki's dreams of becoming a singer started from an early age. With this goal in mind, the young star enrolled in a dance school to hone her talents. At auditions, her gifts in singing and dancing have gained her the attention from numerous people in the industry. In March of 2003, coinciding with her entry into the 9th grade, Nami decided to move to Tokyo.

October of 2002 marked the start of Gundam Seed. It was a big hit in both TV ratings and the opening themes. The first opening song was sung by T.M.Revolution with the second sung by Vivian or Kazuma, with both being consecutive hits. Following along this brilliant path, Nami was selected to sing the anime's third opening theme song, "Believe." Her demo tape was chosen out of 5000 applicants, chosen by the Gundam Seed staff because she was the perfect match to what they were looking for - thrill, speed, and excitement.

As a child, Nami always dreamed of becoming a singer, and never failed to grasp the attention of the people in the Kansai area with her extraordinary singing power, sense of rhythm, and looks. With her mature demeanor, it is hard to believe that she is only 15. As several inquiries have been made by the TV commercial industry, we can expect this young female artist to be successful in multiple areas, not only in singing.
