Artist Statement
The mural demonstrates aspects of Chinese calligraphy by using the combinations of Chinese characters.
Characters like zhi, huai, shi which appear repeatedly in the literary piece are presented in
interlaced patterns in the mural which also preserves the original meaning of the text.
The moulding of pottery clay to the mural is attractively contrived.
The calligraphy complements the imagery and endows the mural with elegance and beauty.

縱橫交錯,保留原有文義,加上陶土塑造拼合,
來增添視覺趣味,書法配合意境,錯落有致,秀麗出塵.
