Plans to push through security bill attacked
Chruch leader says Tung failed to understand public opinion
About 50 pro-democracy legislators and activists marched to the Hong Kong Government headquarters yesterday to protest against governmant plans to push through an anti-subversion bill despite strong public demand that it's delayed.
On Saturday, Hong Kong's leader, Tung Chee-hwa, announced he would amend several parts of the bill because of widespread opposition, but insisted he still wants it passed as scheduled on Wednesday. An estimated 500000 people took part in a march last Tuesday to protest against the anti-subversion laws. The demonstration took place on the sixth anniversary of Hong Kong's changeover from British to Chinese rule.
"Half a million people marched to demand the government to shelve the legislation, and you are still forcing it through, said Yeung Sum, head of the Democratic Party, who organised yesterday's protest.
" Despite the amendments, the government has done too little, too late" Yeung said..........
I saw the Plans to "push through security bill attacked" later, I unsatisfied with the Hong Kong government becausethe government insisted passed as scheduled on Wednesday and not postpone to security bill legislation, so I disappointed for the government.
Love song of taste (1)
Song Name: Close to you

Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near? Just like me, they long to be close to you.
Why do stars fall down from the sky every time you walk by? Just like me, they long to be close to you.
On the day that you were born the angels got together And decided to create a dream come true.
So, they sprinkled moon dust in your hair of gold. And star-light in your eyes of blue.
That is why all the girls in town follow you all around, Just like me, they long to be close to you.

I had magzetive to listen the song later because the love song is excellent and the song content is felt lovely and I imagine to find the lovers, so I love this song. Do you like listen that song?

Hard times for Tumg.
To describe the state of Hong Kong in his 2003-2004 budget delivered in March, Financial Secretary Antory Leung Kam-Chung borrowed the famous line from Charles Dickens' A tales of Two Cities: "It was the best of times; it was the worst of times."
Mr. Leung is convinced this could well be the best of times for Hong Kong as it stands to prosper ftom a fast-growing mainland economy. But this could also be the worst of times, with public confidence in the economy and the government plummeting to new depths.
"For us to forge ahead," he said, "the government needs to work together with the people, united in determination and with wisdom to meet all challenges, turning adversity into opportunity."
Just four months after he painted a mixed picture of Hong Kong, Mr.Leung and other officials close to Chief Executive Tung Chee Wah appear to be facing the worst of times.
More than 500000 people took to the streets on Tuesday -- which also marked the sixth anniversry of Hong Kong's return to Chinese sovereignty - to oppose the national security bill and express outrage over the governance of the Tung cabinet.
The nine-hour rally began just hours after Premier Wen Jiabao ended his first visit to Hong Kong after attending the official anniversary ceremony.
The historic protest dealt a crippling blow to Mr. Tung's authority and the legitimacy of his government. Calls for the resignation of Mr. Tung and the acceleration of democratisation have grown.
Soon after the March, Mr. Tung said he was "very concerned that a large number of citizens took part in the procession". He also expressed his understanding of the aspirations of the participants.
He convened two special Executive Council meetings on Thursday and Friday to discuss ways to avert the looming crisis over the Article 23 legislation. However, emerging from the meeting on Friday, Mr. Tung said no decision had yet been taken.
Soon after he spoke, s soder-looking Chief Secretary Donald Tsang Yam Kuen said at a special Legislative Council debate on the post-rally crisis that the government was taking a fresh look at the bill and reflecting on its overall performance..........
I saw the Hand times for Tung later, O had unsatisfied the government because the government insist that the Article 23 of Basic law to legislation. I attended to parade of 1st, July because I unsatisfied the economic downturn and the Chief executive Tung Chee Wah did the wrong policy usually, so I attended it.

Accept your lot.

July 15 an important day for every Primary six student and their parents. Some of them are happy, but some of them are upset.
Due to the outbreak of Sars, the final exams of Primary six students were affected, and students system is fair--- it's the attitude of students and parents that is wrong.
Students must always try their best to achieve the best results in their exams. If they say the system is not fair, does this mean they did not put their effort into the previous exams, except for the finals? It is not good for students who just want to use little effort to gain huge rewards. If you have tried your best, you must accept the result happily. If not, you must change your study attitude and method in order to prevent the situation from happening agein.
There are many challenges in life. I hope the Primary Six students will be happy to accept the results.

Title: Oats a healthy food for all ages

I think eating healthy food is good for us.
There are many healthy foods we can choose, such as oats.
Their properties can help prevent heart disease and cancern, maintain our blood glucose levels and assist weight loss.
Oats absorb much water to produce a feeling of a full stomach for a long period.
So, perople who eat oats don't need to have any snacks in between meals.
As is well known, those who tend to have potato crispsand French fries are not doing their health any favours.
They will become fat and suffer from various diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
Therefore, oats are great for all ages.
Thanks for your letter, Ruby. You are right, oats are good for us. but only as part of a balanced diet. A healthy diet is made up of lots of different foods that are good for you.
The best way to ensure that you are getting a balanced diet is to eat a varied diet. Have fish one day, meat the next- and always have plenty of fruit and vegetables.
Moderation is the key. It is ok to have a little chocolate or French fries once in a while, just to make sure that you are not having them every meal.

Title: Sporting success

"Crrrr...ump." I heard the volleyball hit thecourt, and so did my five teammates and our opponents - one of the best teams in the league. We had won!
The whole Chinese Foundation Secondary School leaped with joy. We all hugged each other and my heart pounded with joy. It had always been our dream to beat our brilliant opponents, and finally all our hard work had paid ooff.
As I stared at my joyful teammates, painful memories of the price we had paid for our success flashed through my mind. How we got up at 7am for volleyball practice for months, while others were still dreaming.
I thought of the painful physicak exercuses our coach made us do; and most of all, now nerve-racking it was to play in the competition and get as far as the finals.
But they say: "No pain, no gain." It was worth it ! We haven't got our hands o the trophy yet, but now we know we are in with a fighting chance!
I want to say a big " thank you" to my beloved teammates and volleyball coaches for sharing this wonderful experience with me.

Title: Parents must learn to relax a little

"No gain without pain" has a ring of truth. We should work hard everyday.
However, student life can be very stressful as pupils face a lot of problems in their everyday lives with their families, studies or even love.
With the economic downturn, families have become the main source of stress for many students. Why? Because on the one hand, parents always want their children to get good academic results. On the other, students are going through an emotional time in their personal lives. SOme fall in love, for instance. But if a student can strike a balance between studying and daying- which can be achieved - adults need not worry about them falling behind in their students.

Topic: Gloomy job market a growing worry

A recent survey revealed that young people are very concerned about HOng Kong's unemployment problem. The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, who conducted the survey, polled 502 people aged between 39.
After reading about the survey, I think that it reveals the message that many teenagers are becoming worried about the problem of finding work.
This is good because it proves that many young people have a mature outlook. But the survey also revealed that many teenagers are unemployed.
To solve this problem, the government should arrange job placements for teenagers so that they gain work experience. Teenagers take part in such programmers can find jobs much more easily.
