Tsing Ma Bridge / Lantau Link / Tung Kau Bridge
Lantau Link was opened to traffic in May 1997, linking Lantau Island, Ma Wan and Tsing Yi Island with the Airport and the rest of the territory. It comprises two bridges, where Tsing Ma Bridge on Ma Wan Channel is the world's longest road and rail suspension bridges with a main span of 1377 meters and a total length of 2.2 kilometres, and also the main part of the Lantau Link. The other is Kap Shui Mun Bridge on Kap Shui Mun Channel, which is one of the world¡¦s longest span cable-stayed bridge carrying both road and rail traffic.

Beside that, you can find Ting Kau Bridge next to Tsing Ma Bridge. It is a 1.1 kilometres long span cable-stayed bridge for road traffic, and a section on Route 3 that links the northern part of the New Territories with the city. The outstanding features of this bridge are the 3 towers on both sides and the middle of Rambler Channel.

These three bridges are not only an important infrastructure for the land transportation, but also becomes a prominent landmark in Hong Kong. The best way to visit the bridges is travelling by our Cityflyer or Northern Lantau routes to across the bridge. You can experience the grand scenic views on the way, and then the beautiful scenery on Lantau Island and also the great facilities at the airport.

Western Market / Sheung Wan Gala Point
The Western Market located in the Sheung Wan business area, was the North Block of the market buildings built in 1906 in Edwardian style. The building was converted into a traditional trade, arts and crafts centre by Land Development Corporation in 1991. The traditional design and its historic value provide a good environment for shops selling Chinese handicrafts and fabrics, and also make Western Market a declared monument.

Sheung Wan Gala Point is next to Macau Ferry Bus Terminus. It started to operate in October 2002 and is divided into three zones, Shopping, Games and Dining, which have more then 300 booths and covers 68,000 square metres. The Shopping zone sell different kinds of gifts at relatively cheap prices; The Game zone has 15 booths for a variety of games; The Dining zone provides many Hong Kong style dishes, including herb tea, noodles and "typhoon shelter" style seafood, etc. Besides that, there are some entertainments and arts performances held on specified nights, special events will also be held during the major festivals. (On weekdays, Sheung Wan Gala Point will open at night only)

The Landmark / Statue Square / City Hall
Central is a major business and political centre in Hong Kong and is full of commercial buildings, and up market shopping malls like the Landmark where you can find many famous worldwide boutiques.

The handover of Hong Kong passed several years ago, but we still have a lot of colonial features in Central, of which Statue Square and the Legislative Council Building, a declared monument, are examples. The streets around Statue Square are designated for pedestrians only on public holidays, providing a good location for outdoor functions. The square is also a meeting venue for foreign maids on weekends and public holidays.

After the opening in 1962, the City Hall opposite Statue Square has already passed its 40th anniversary. In this period, thousands of local and overseas arts groups have performed at the Concert Hall, the Theatre and the Recital Hall. Other facilities in the City Hall include committee rooms, an exhibition hall and a marriage registry. You can also enjoy "Hong Kong Infrastructure Experience" in Hong Kong Planning and Infrastructure Exhibition Gallery next to the City Hall. The gallery comprises four main sections: Town Planning, Tourism, Transport and Logistics, and Environmental Protection. (The gallery is closed on Tuesdays except public holidays)

Pacific Place is located in Admiralty and is actually an integrated complex. Causeway Bay Shopping Area
If you are coming to Hong Kong for shopping, then you've made a good choice, particularly at Causeway Bay. You can find a lot of famous boutiques, shops, department stores and shopping malls here. Victoria Park / Hong Kong Central Library
Victoria Park is the largest and most famous park in Hong Kong. It was open to the public 40 years ago and comprises an area of 17 hectares. There are a lot of leisure facilities including tennis courts, squash courts, swimming pool, football fields, handball court, basketball courts and bowing greens, etc. As well as its sporting facilities, its outdoor environment facilitates various events and demonstrations making it one of Hong Kong's key focal points. Beside that, Victoria Park also has the biggest flower fair in Hong Kong before Chinese New Year, and you can buy different kinds of flowers or souvenirs here.

The Hong Kong Central Library is located in Causeway Road opposite Victoria Park since May 2001. It is famous not only because of the unique arch-shaped entrance which represent "Gate of Knowledge", but also because of its important role in Hong Kong Public Libraries System. The 12-floor high building occupies a gross area of 9,400 sq. metres and the stock is so large that the Adult Lending Library offers over 240,000 books. Beside the books, the library also provides comprehensive reference & collection in text and multi-media format.
