Hong Kong Museum of History / Science Museum
The new building of the Hong Kong Museum of History at Tsim Sha Tsui East opened in 1998, covers an area of 17,500 square metres. "The Hong Kong Story" Permanent Exhibition is the soul of the museum. It is divided into 8 galleries and outlines the history of Hong Kong from 400 million years ago to the return of sovereignty of the territory to China in 1997, through the display of over 3700 exhibits, graphic panels, dioramas and multimedia programmes. Beside that, museum also organizes thematic exhibitions, weekend lectures, demonstrations and special workshops which cover a wide range of topics in Hong Kong and world history. The resources centre preserved many reference books, historical photographs, oral history tapes and other audio-visual materials for reference. (The museum is closed on Tuesday)
The Hong Kong Science Museum opened in 1991. It is four-storeys high building next to the museum of history and covers an area of 12,000 square metres. You can find about 500 collections divided into different zones, and parts of them are hands-on exhibits. The zones are related to Physics, Geography, Mathematics, Meteorology, Life Science, Computer, Telecommunications, Transportation, Home Technology & Energy, etc. The museum also organises some specific exhibitions, like Chinese Aerospace Exhibition, and science-related courses. (The museum is closed on Thursday)

New World Centre / The Amazon (Teddy Bear Kingdom)
The New World Centre and Place Mall located in Tsim Sha Tsui and is a large shopping mall with famous boutiques and restaurants. Beside six-storeys shopper's paradise with variable range of outlets, New World Centre also includes office tower, service apartments and an exhibition venue.

The Amazon is located between New World Centre and the Space Museum, which is a two-storeys underground shopping mall. Beside the shops selling fashion items, you can also visit the Teddy Bear Kingdom there. It is a country of the Teddy Bears and also a indoor entertainment world for vistors, major districts include Harmony Tree, Teddy Bear Museum, DIY Teddy's Cradle, Canival Forest, Teddy's Cyber Universe, Teddy Bear Picnic Place, Treasure Cave and Dr. Teddy Playhouse.

Harbour City
Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui is Hong Kong's largest shopping mall. It covers over 2 million square foot and is divided into four zones which extending from the "Star" Ferry Pier to China Hong Kong City, with 700 shops, 50 restaurants and 2 cinemas. There are also large outdoor built-in TV facilities on the wall showing various programmes near the "Star" Ferry Pier. As many of worldwide boutiques are in the mall, most visitors take pictures and see the view of Victoria Harbour outside the clock tower first and then visit the mall for shopping or meal. Beside the shopping mall, Harbour City also included 3 hotels and set of office towers.

If you are at Nathan Road, you can walk through Haiphong Road or Peking Road to the Harbour City.

Kowloon Park/ Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard/ China HK City
The Kowloon Park is located at Tsim Sha Tsui and covers an area of about 13.47 hectares. It was originally the barracks of British Army, and now is the most popular park in Kowloon with more than 30 years of history. There are many indoor and outdoor facilities, including a bird lake, banyan court and swimming pool, plus many local and international functions are regularly held here.

Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard and China Hong Kong City are the shopping centre located next to Kowloon Park. You can find the Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard in Nathan Road, which have more then 50 department stores along the road selling various fashion items. China Hong Kong City is located on Canton Road on the other side of the park. The complex includes a comprehensive shopping mall, offices and hotel. China Ferry Terminal also inside the China Hong Kong City, where visitors and locals can do last minute shopping before the ferry trip.

Temple Street
Temple Street is one of the most famous street markest in Hong Kong, particularly at the mid-night. When the stalls open at afternoon, the street becomes busy because they attract both local customers and foreign visitors. Different items sold on the street includes amethyst teapots, jewellery, posters, clothes and traditional chinese handicrafts etc. You can also enjoy the Chinese fare, ad lib Cantonese opera, or find some Chinese fortune-tellers to read your palm along the street.

You can walk form Nathan Road, then via Public Square Street or Ning Po Street to Temple Street.

Tung Choi Street (Ladies' Street)
The Ladies' Street in Mong Kok is the most famous street market in Hong Kong. You can find a lot of stalls selling different items like clothing, toys, cosmetics and household knick-knacks there (not only for ladies, and also for men and children). The goods are always bargain-priced, so the market attracts many local customers and tourists. Don't forget that most stalls are closed in the morning.

Tsing Ma Bridge / Lantau Link / Tung Kau Bridge
Lantau Link was opened to traffic in May 1997, linking Lantau Island, Ma Wan and Tsing Yi Island with the Airport and the rest of the territory. It comprises two bridges, where Tsing Ma Bridge on Ma Wan Channel is the world's longest road and rail suspension bridges with a main span of 1377 meters and a total length of 2.2 kilometres, and also the main part of the Lantau Link. The other is Kap Shui Mun Bridge on Kap Shui Mun Channel, which is one of the world¡¦s longest span cable-stayed bridge carrying both road and rail traffic.

Beside that, you can find Ting Kau Bridge next to Tsing Ma Bridge. It is a 1.1 kilometres long span cable-stayed bridge for road traffic, and a section on Route 3 that links the northern part of the New Territories with the city. The outstanding features of this bridge are the 3 towers on both sides and the middle of Rambler Channel.

These three bridges are not only an important infrastructure for the land transportation, but also becomes a prominent landmark in Hong Kong. The best way to visit the bridges is travelling by our Cityflyer or Northern Lantau routes to across the bridge. You can experience the grand scenic views on the way, and then the beautiful scenery on Lantau Island and also the great facilities at the airport.
