The following is a list of the general entrance requirements for applicants seeking admission to the programmes of HKIEd in September / October 2002, on the strength of their HKALE results.  This simplified list is for information only. Applicants are advised to consult the institution's prospectus/admissions handbook for details of the general entrance requirements and programme requirements.

以下所列的入學規定適用於擬以香港高級程度會考成績申請申請於2002年9月 / 10月入讀教院課程的申請人，此簡介只供參考。申請人應查閱院校的課程簡介／入學手冊內所詳列的入學規定及課程要求。

Bachelor's Degree Programmes

 
AL/AS REQUIREMENTS
 
1. Grade E or above in either: 2 AL subjects
　 or: 1 AL subject + 2 AS subjects (other than Use of English and Chinese Language & Culture)
2. Grade E or above in AS Use of English
3. Grade E or above in AS Chinese Language & Culture
　
HKCEE REQUIREMENTS
 
Grade E or above in the same sitting in at least 6 subjects including Chinese Language, English Language (Syllabus B)* and Mathematics.
* Grade C in English Language (Syllabus A) is regarded as equivalent to grade E in English Language (Syllabus B) for the purpose of this requirement.
