Most Profitable Training (01-02-04)

Hey, This was on global a while ago but I couldn't find the answer so I did my own. Me and my best hattrick buddy Justin confer many times about hattrick so me and him discussed and I wrote a article about this topic. What is the most profitable type of player to train???
Your information:
Defence
You can train 10 men 4 of which can be wingbacks with at least inadequate passing. The average price of a central defender at the level of lets say formidable is $11.5 million. The average price of a wingback with passable wing is about $12.5 million. The average price of a outstanding defender is $17 million and the wingback is about $1 million higher.

In this training you sacrifice:
- Winning many games
- Thus losing many supporters
- Long term training for higher skill
- More chances at starting a CA attack if the defenders have okay passing

You gain
- A extremely good defence (can be useful as you save money on buying a keeper)
- You train 10 people the maximum you can train
- The prices for buying a passable - excellent 17 year old defender at mid season is pretty cheap (ask jucsitin for more info)

Situation
So if you buy solid 17 year old defenders at the middle of the season you pay around $4 million for each (less if your justin and $500,000 more for winger skill) and then you train them upto formidable for the middle of next season when they are 18 meaning they still have training potential (granted that you add on about $500,000 for each defender sold) So the average price of sale is $12 and $13 million for each respectavly meaning that you have a revenue of: $124 millions (BIG SUM) and the cost of buying them was: $42 million so your profit was: $82 million

Keeper
In keeper training you can only train 2 players but they count about twice as much towards defence. The average selling price of a outstanding keeper is around $25 million.

In this training you sacrifice:
- Mass training
- Good trainees sell for high prices
- In the long term it isn't really worth it

You gain
- A extremely good defence
- Flexibility for formation
- You only buy 2 meaning less money you have to spend

Situation
Lets say you buy 2 17 year old solid keepers in the middle of the season and like all other trainees they could have different value but lets say for each training the trainees have just reached solid... so at around week 1 of next season you will have 2 formidable players but if you look at this over time you will actually have 2 outstanding people by the middle of next season meaning you sell them for more at about $25 million each. So our revenue is: $50 million and our cost is: $10 million (solid 17 year olds go for around $5 million) therefore our expected profit will be: $40 million in other words crap...

Scoring
In scoring you can train 6 men, the average price of formidable forward is around $13 million when the passing is around weak.
When we do train passing though the amount of time taken to go up a skill is around 6 weeks and plus one week for every year older than that. Therefore our forwards will be at around outstanding by the next mid season. Scorers also gain basically 1 level of scoring for every 4 levels of passing meaning that they will be better in this case with weak passing.

In this training you sacrifice:
- Defence
- Not much felxibility with formation
- You have to worry about the passing

You gain
- You won't be prone to CA
- There is a market for scorers
- If your player has good passing it can go for a lot higher

Situation
You buy 6 scorers at the age of 17 for $4 million each at the middle of the season and you train them for 1 season. They will be outstanding by the next season. Outstanding scorers sell for around $18.5 million each so out revenue is: $111 million and cost is: $28 million so the profit is: $83 million

Playmaking
In playmaking you can train 6 midfielders and 4 wingers. On average solid 17 year old playmakers go for around $4 million and solid playmakers with passable winger go for around $4.5 million. The wingers train at half the pace meaning they go up every 14 weeks and the playmakers go up at one level every 7 weeks. Lets also take that the stamina for our playmakers and wingers is solid.

In this training you sacrifice:
- Defence
- Big competition to buy trainees
- You are prone to CA

You gain
- You will Pwn anyone as midfield is superior
- You can train a lot of players

Situation
You buy 6 17 year old solid midfielders with weak passing and defending. The wingers will have passable winger and solid playmaking. The midfielders will be trained upto formidable and the wingers upto excellent. Formidables go for around $10 million and excellent with passable winger go for around $4 million so your revenue is: $76 million and cost is: $46 million so our profit will be $30 million.

Winger
When you train winger the winger skill goes up every 5 weeks and for wingbacks every 10 weeks. So if you buy solid wingers with weak playmaking, passing and defence who are 17 and solid winger with passable passing for wingbacks (they have weak playmaking and passing) You buy solid wingers for $3.5 million and the wingbacks for $4 million each at the middle of the season.

In this training you sacrifice:
- Central attack
- It's a growing market meaning more buyers

You gain
- Wing attack
- Quick training

Situation
You buy 4 17 year old solid wingers with weak passing, playmaking and defending and 4 wingbacks with solid winger and passable defending. The wingers will reach outstanding by the next season and the wingbacks will be excellent. The outstanding wingers sell for around $19 million and excellent wingers with passable passing go for around $5.5 million so your revenue will be: $94 million and your cost is: $30 million so your profit is $64 million.

Conclusion
Through this information I conclude that Scoring is the most profitable training but in later reports I will do I will show the same thing for when you train a player for 2, 3 and 4 seasons or until they turn magnificient. Defending is also a pretty good training as it gives you only $1 million less profit.
