| Why not use the payment at the Post Office? |
Most banks that they have the foreign exchange services have the following services:
|
1.Demand Draft (Money Order); |
|
2.Cash; |
|
3.Wire Transfer (or Cable Transfer); |
|
4.Mail Transfer; |
|
5.Travelers Cheque. |
But the Post Office only have the wire transfer, mail transfer, and the travelers cheque. Both transfer are faster than money order, but it's the most expensive cost for the small payment.
If I want to apply the mail transfer, the Post Office will charge TWD160 for all the service charge, this service is construed by Citibank, so Citibank will get the handle charge for USD10 from me. Wire transfer will cost me TWD400 to the Post Office, Citibank will still charge USD10.
If I apply the demand draft from any banks, it's the best way to do so. Banks will get the handle charge from me. Most banks at America do not get the handle charge from you (the sellers). Even yes, they are too little to count, and too little to ignore it. When I finish applying the money order from any banks, I'll mail it to the sellers by the expressed registered air mail. When you receive the payment, then you can mail the item to me. Money order is valued forever, even you don't deposit to your bank account. If you need the cash, remember, deposit the money order to your bank account to earn more interests.
The travelers cheque is great way to do, too. Travelers cheque is used as the cash in America, and it's welcome in many countries. The face value was sold in USD20, USD50, and USD100. Most banks sell them. If your access bank do not accept the travelers cheque, please notify me with notice first.
Our postal rules listed that the cash can not be mailed immediately, so I can not mail the cash to any sellers to any countries, even Taiwan.
