Dear Wan Ka To,

Thank you for contacting PayPal. We apologize for the delay in responding to your service request.

The reference to a US bank was a typographical error, it should have read Canadian Bank account.

In reviewing your account, our records indicate that your bank returned our random deposits for invalid account information. This Canadian bank account has been removed from your PayPal account.

I would advise you to contact your financial institution and verify with the EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) Department that the correct bank information is registered. Information to verify includes:

? ??The name on the bank account must match the name registered on the PayPal account
? ??The 5-digit branch transit number
? ??The 3-digit institution number
? ??The account number as it is required for EFT transactions
? ??The bank is correctly listed as checking or savings
Please note that your Canadian bank account must be denominated in Canadian Dollars, as PayPal does not support Canadian bank accounts denominated in U.S. Dollars.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Sincerely, Marilyn PayPal Global Services PayPal, an eBay Company

customer subject: add bank account failed

customer message: Additional Information: 'Paypal sent me 2 emails saying that the two deposits that PayPal sent to my "U.S." bank account as part of the bank confirmation process were returned to payal. Yet, I never indicated that I'm using a U.S. bank account and I have already checked the Canada option button when adding my bank account. So I just went to add the same bank account again today. After I have filled out the 'add bank account' page it says "This bank account is disabled for entry into the PayPal website. Please add a different bank account instead. " Paypal also asked me to fax whatever document. However, I am not going to fax anything since I did no wrong or anything to cause this trouble! I just want a way to make my bank account work so I can transfer my money to my bank account and end this unnecessary trouble.'
