Monster Breakfast Cookies

Makes about 2 dozen 4" (10 cm) cookies.

Ingredients:
175 ml soft margarine
250 ml packed brown sugar
1 egg
60 ml orange juice
60 ml dried skim milk powder
250 ml all purpose flour
60 ml wheat germ
5 ml baking powder
4 ml salt
2 ml cinnamon
375 ml oatmeal
125 ml raisins
125 ml coarsely chopped walnuts

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 350oF.
2 In large bowl, cream together margarine, brown sugar and egg until light and fluffy; stir in orange juice.
3. In a medium bowl, combine the next 6 dry ingredients and stir to mix. Add to creamed mixture and stir until well mixed.
4. Add oats, raisins and nuts; mix well.
5. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased or sprayed cookie sheets, leaving plenty of room for spreding during cooking; flatten to 3 1/2" (8.75 cm) rounds with bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.
6. Bake 12 - 15 minutes; remove from oven. Let stand 2 - 3 minutes; lift off sheet and cool on wire rack.
