Potato Latkes

Ingredients:
100-125 ml onion
500 ml potatoes
1 egg
25 ml flour
1 ml salt few grains pepper
oil for frying
Accompaniments:
50 ml applesauce
50 ml sour cream

Method:
1. Grate or finely chop onions.
2. Peel and grate potatoes.
3. Beat an egg in a large bowl and mix in onion, potatoes, flour, salt dn pepper.
4. HEat frying pan with about 15 ml oil on medium-high heat.
5. Drop 125 ml of the potato mixture intoo greased pan. Spread mixture into a 1 cm patty.
6. Cook until golden brown, flip and cook other side until golden.
7. Serve with sour cream and apples sauce.
