Chocolate Brownies
125 ml oil 5 oz semi sweet chocolate 2 eggs 250 ml flour 5 ml baking powder 125 ml sugar 5 ml vanilla 1 ml salt Method: 1. Preheat the oven to 400oF. 2. Grease square cake pan with a little bit of oil and line with lightly oiled greaseproof paper. 3. Melt chocolate with the remaining oil in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of water, stirring until smooth. 4. Beat the eggs lightly and add them to the chocolate, stirring vigorously. 5. Beat in the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla and pour the mixture into the prepared pan. 6. Arrange pecans over the top. 7. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Cut into squares and leave to cool before removing from pan. |
