Wheat Germ Saucer Cookies
Yield: 9
Ingredients:
75 ml margarine
75 ml sugar
75 ml brown sugar
1 egg
2 ml vanilla
125 ml flour
2 ml baking powder
1 ml salt
100 ml wheat germ
30 ml quick oats
30 ml flaked coconut (optional)
75 ml raisins (optional)
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 190oC (375oF).
2. Grease cookie sheet.
3. Cream margarine until light and fluffly. Add sugar creaming well after each addition.
4. Add well beaten egg and vanilla.
5. Combine in a separate bowl the dry ingredients.
6. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
7. Place approximately 50 ml measures on cookie sheet.
8. Flatten lightly with fork.
9. Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
10. Remove to cooling rack immediately. |
