"China and the West", an academic attempt to correlate Chinese and western history, past and contemporary.

 

"The Origins and Nature of Hong Kong Slang – reflections on Hong Kong social and cultural history" has been launched, and supported by a grant of about $80,000 from the Louis Cha Fund.  The first book of this series will be published in the winter of 2000.
