來港擔任Lava 外籍教練 Ben Swatman 於 2005/7/7 Lava 網上聯盟上宣佈與其韓籍伴侶結婚,
並於當日每週訓練時由其親口証實並發表結束其為期兩年任教生涯。
"Hi Everybody!
Hyemin and I are getting married! We are so excited. We will get married
Sept. 3rd in Seoul, Korea. After the wedding, we plan on coming to
Seattle to live and work for 1 year. We will also have a reception party
in the Seattle area, probably in October or November. If you can make it
to Seoul in September we would love to have you, and I will let you know
the plan for the reception in the Seattle area.
Planning
We went to Seattle together to meet my family on June 16th-23rd. I
really enjoyed seeing everyone again for a short time, and she really
liked the city and my friends and family. Hyemin was able to go back
home on the 23rd while I was delayed in Seattle for another week and a
half because of a problem with my plane ticket. It turned out to be a
really valuable time for me to get things ready for our married life in
Seattle(place to live, job,
visa application, etc.). Right now, I'm in Seoul with Hyemin and her
family. I stopped here on my way back to Hong Kong to plan some wedding
things with them for a few days. It has been very fun and exciting. Each
time I come here I feel more comfortable in the city and closer to her
family and friends. We plan on living here for a year after we leave
Seattle. Then we will be going to the mission field somewhere.
Hong Kong
Tonight I am going back to Hong Kong to help with the summer program and
say goodbye to all my great friends there. I will come back to Seoul
about the middle of August so I only have one month and a half left in
HK. I have been so blessed in Hong Kong and it will be very tough to say
goodbye. Thanks so much to all of you for all your prayers, financial
support, and encouragement during these 2 1/2 years I've lived in Hong
Kong. It has been
an amazing time for me. I can't really put into words all the great
things that God has done for me and shown me about Himself. I hope I
will be able to come visit and help out in HK sometimes.

Its so amazing how everything is working out. I am so thankful to God
for Hyemin and her family, and all that He is doing to get everything
ready. He has been changing me and preparing me for this big step for a
while now. I am ready to share everything with Hyemin. In fact, things
just don't seem worthwhile anymore if she is not a part of it and here
with me."
