TT: Hello, Miss Ting, I would like to know what activities did English Club held?

MT: Well, that’s a lot! We usually had Halloween Party. Every year, we had English week. Last year Christmas, we had the wish-making tree. Do you still remember it?

TT: Yes.

MT: We also had “Come & Chat” in the past. Do you know what it was? Student could come to talk with teachers.

TT: Wow! That was great! Were students in the past interested in learning English?

MT: The students in the past were interested in learning English. They were eager to learn it.

TT: How about the students now?

MT: The students now are interested in learning English, too.

TT: What about the learning attitude of the students? I mean the students in the past, and also the students now, in comparison to each other.

MT: Well, it depends on the class. If there are some hard-working students in the class, other students will ask more question. And if there are some lazy students in the class, the learning atmosphere will also be affected.
