To help the secondary school students handle the basic requirements of public exams but

more importantly, to instill a life-long skill in using English in real life situations, we emphasize

the use of English in students’ reasoning, argument, critical thinking and creativity through

positive feedback.

How we can help

We use CURRENT EVENTS

Our tutor discusses current events with students as teaching materials to encourage

students to express their views and to apply their knowledge and creativity

We use ROLE PLAY

Activities are designed to instill fun in the learning process while encouraging active

participation. The role-playing features will model after real life scenarios to prepare the

students for practical daily English usage

We promote CREATIVE WRITING

Our tutor designs writing activities or exercises aiming to encourage students to write

fiction and non-fiction creatively in English. Guidance and encouragement will be given to

students to foster their interest in writing.

We use drama & speech

Students will be encouraged to take part in projects such as writing scripts and playing

in dramas as well as writing and delivering speeches.

Our class is SMALL

Each class has a maximum of 8 students allowing students to fully participate. Small

class also allows our tutors to give adequate attention to each student to ensure that

his or her basic English skills are built up accordingly, and proper encouragement to foster

students’ interest.

and therefore increases their confidence in speaking in English in public.
