General Description

Leaf

Size 12 cm long, one-quarter as wide
Leaf stalk 0.5cm long
Leaves are alternate, simple.  The shape is narrowly elliptic

Apex and base both tapering to a point, the margin very fine toothed and the surfaces smooth and hairless

Flower

Flower-cluster 5 to 6 cm long
Flower stalk 2 cm long
Colour greenish white
  Five petals are narrow and pointed, about 2 cm long, hairy on outer surfaces; the five petals are about as long as the sepals, hairy on both surfaces and the tip they have a conspicuous fringe. The stamens are numerous, about 1.5 cm long and with a long hair-like point on the end of each anther. The ovary is superior and sits within a disc about 0.2 cm high, the shape of the ovary is conical, it is smooth and tipped with a tapering style about 1 cm long.

Fruit

Fruit is a berry with oily pulp.Large, hard stone containing one to five seeds.
