Leaf

Size 15 to 25 x 5 to 10 cm
Leaf stalk 2.5 cm long

  Leaves are alternate, simple, and elliptical.

  Veins are regular and prominent below, surfaces are smooth and hairless, the upper surface is shiny.

  Fruit

It is a short spike of rather woody carpals, but M.alba does not set seed in Hong Kong.
