Direct Taxes

There are three forms of direct taxes in Hong Kong: Profits Tax on business profits, Salaries Tax on income from employment or pensions, and Property Tax on income from real estate property. The three taxes are separate and distinct, and each is imposed only on income derived from Hong Kong sources and certain other income deemed to be from Hong Kong sources.
