2	Have a good preparation before tutoring		n know what you are going to teach n think for your students n find out what they need in order to have improvement n prepare worksheets / handouts / exercises for students
3	Be communicative		n students à use metaphors and examples when teaching n example of using “break wind” to teach diffusion n à say something when tutoring, i.e. give a mini-lecture to your students n don’t just let students do homework and exercises n parents à always tell parents what you are doing n let them know you are doing something to help their children n suggest some ways to communicate with parents of your students n let parents build up confidence on tutors
4	Be friendly		n take care of students and kindly help them to solve their problems n students are willing to ask you questions n not only to be their tutors, but also be their friends (as they are our boss!) n build-up friendship not only inside the classroom, but also outside classroom
5	Conclusion		n benefits you’ll get after having these characteristics to be good tutors n share something of how I cope with my students now outside the classroom
