France Tour

10/8 Paris

Certainly 3 days for Spain and 3 days for France is not enough. What I can do is to pick the best destination and pack everything tight in my schedule. The flight from barcelona to paris is cheap, just around 20-30 euro, though it takes off and lands at airports far away.

I missed the Chateau de versailles last time I visited Paris. And this time I just have one aim, the versailles.

This queue is what you get if you go to europe at peak season, especially at the popular sight seeing points.

And finally into the chateau.

The chateau closes at 6pm, to kill the time at night I went to the Eiffel Tower.

11/8 Normandy

Joined a local tour today and the guy was knowledgeable.

The beach there was probably a battle field on the D-day.

Self catering dinner saves money.

This is the best youth hostel (a member of the HI international) I ever stayed. The gardens are beautiful. The rooms are spotless and the dinning hall, wow, is more impressive than the oxford colleges.

12/8 Mont Saint-Michel

The muddy ground around Mont St Michel.

It's time to reward myself at the end of the journey. Oyster, duck and cream brulee. 24 Euro.

Come back through Jersey which is also beautiful.
