Choosing Motherboard

Buying motherboard, people need to think about the chipset first. Chipset divided into two parts, including Northbridge and Southbridge. Intel and AMD ( Two major producers) produce two different kinds and principles of CPU, these two CPUs do not support each other. Therefore, choosing motherboard need to know the functions about the type of CPU, Ram, AGP, also the number of PCI, including USB 2.0 / IEEE 1394 / LAN / Audio /Series ATA / RAID etc.
