Task 4 Idioms

An idiom is a phrase which has a special meaning of its own. e.g. As a matter of life and death = an issue that is important to survival, success.

Body Language

The following sentences all contain idioms requiring a part of the body to complete them. How many do you know? If in doubt, refer to your dictionary where you will find the sentences given as examples for the relevant idioms.
