Order of adjectives

There is no absolute rule about the order for adjectives, but the chart will give you some idea :

Note: Adjectives in the characteristic column have no fixed order. The order of subjective and characteristic adjectives is often changed:

• a beautiful, large, red chair
• a large, red, beautiful chair

The feature which the speaker thinks is most important will come first.
