What is volcanoes?
When the magma rushes out, an explosive volcanic eruption occurs. After a series of eruptions, a mountain is built up, and volcano is made. We could say a volcano is a liquid rock plumbing system which extends from several 10's of kilometers depth to the earth's surface, and includes the near vent deposits of eruptions. Volcano has a broad base and it is are cone-shape area. And also, there is a crater at the top of a volcano.

Volcanoes can divide to three different types, include: dormant volcanoes, extinct volcanoes, active volcanoes.
Dormant volcanoes is the volcanoes which is "sleeping". It will not explode. But if it go into the movement of plate area again, it maybe explode. Extinct volcanoes is the volcanoes that will not explode because it is far away from the movement of plate area. Active volcanoes will explode when the bottom of the volcanoes shake very strong.
