Located at 14 Kut Shing Street, the Law Uk Folk Museum is only five minutes' walk from the Chai Wan MTR Station. The Museum is converted from a restored Hakka village house. The house museum, Law Uk ("Law's House"), is named after its original owner, a Hakka family whose Chinese surname is phonetically transliterated as Law. Today, this 18th-century Hakka village house - the only example of its kind in Chai Wan - is a gazetted monument.
