Dear editor,
I'm sad to hear our unemployed rate had increased in last season. As more and more people are arguing that the fiancial assistance for the unemployed were too much, here I have some opinions about it.
Being a Hong Kong citizen, I can deeply experienced the economy recession in the few past years. as a old saying, 'Human beings should work for food.' i disagree that the government should give money to unemployed. Despite of the above principal, there are many people cheating money from government by pretenting as a unemployed.
Although the economy is bad in Hong Kong now, I think it is still possible to earn enough money for daily living. I know there were still some unlucky people who couldn't find a job at all. I suggest our government could help them by giving them food or coupons for exchanging goods in supermarket.
Also, there were many old unemployed with low technical skills. I suggest the government can provide them free training courses while they are unemployed. It does not just help them find job easier but also improving the competitiveness of Hong Kong.
Since all of us are a part of Hong Kong, we don't want our buddies suffer from poor. All we can do at this time is to work hard and prepare well for the coming chance.
I hope Hong Kong can have a bright future.

Regards,
Kenneth
