Hardcore History in HK (2)       (Chinese)

That night (2003.02.15) was an important note for the HK Hardcore history. Maybe it’s the best show I’ve seen. I think all of u who had checked out this show also feel like me!

Although not all were hardcore kids/bands. But all of us still supported all performing bands. Before people always said hardcore kids are forming a small clique, but that will never again. Because all people (no matter hardcore or not) were attracted by the performers

This time, I saw many new faces, some of them seems only 13. 14 year-old. But they did a great job as the bands on the stage. While Terry ( the vocal of 5Disciplines), Alex ( the vocal of Guan36 & KingLyChee) and Riz( the vocal of KingLyChee) passed the microphone to us, all people could sing together.Some of them jumped on the  stage actively and sing along!!

All of us were enjoying and deep into the air in that small room. We feel like friends and a member of BIG family .No matter what colour we were. Local bands or foreign bands. Playing what kind of music. We admit to everyone on the stage and who stand next to us with sweating body.

Look back to 2002, just one year ago, when I first time checked out band show. There only few people went out and got mad. And most of them were friends with KingLyChee( hardpack, FatJob, Lamkee etc) There was only little people in the show. AS time goes by, there got more and more people ,and many new faces ( including me!! Also some new bands like, choke, V.S, 5Disciplines, Belia etc…)maybe not all of them are playing hardcore, maybe they were not sXe, but we only know the most important point : We all support the HK hardcore! “One of my friend told me that he don’t really like KingLyChee’s music, coz he more like punk/old skool hardcore and he fuck of metal. But he likes KLC because he appreciates what they did and their mind for HK hardcore!

Actually, music just a way for us to send the hardcore message, you also can write an essay, taking videos etc…Just different ways for the promoting, but same meaning!!

When I first heard about hardcore, there only one hardcore band in HK that was KingLyChee, But now, there are 3! (Guan36 and 5Dicsiplines, a new young hc band formed by 5 cool teenagers!) I feel hardcore becomes an air of us, diffuse to everyone’s heart!

Since more and more people got to the show, so they got more crazy on the show. Before there only few people or even no one stage dive. But now there must have few people do it! (although not every time were perfect! And that’s dangous to do it!) no matter u’re boys or girls! And that means people know how to enjoy the show. But one thing I want to remind :stage dive is not just for fun .It’s because we agree with the song, lyric. So we deep into it and stage dive.

But of course, I believe all of us have feeling and hardcore scene in our mind. With agreement, feeling and touching. But please take care!!!

Unfortunately, there’s only 3hardcorebands in HK , and most of them are playing metal hardcore. So all of u. please try to form a band, to let the HK hardcore more beautiful. And I also hope to see more old skool/ punk/emo hardcore. (I’m not trying to make out of what kind of music, I just want to see more different kinds of bands. And that’s the way to make Hk hardcore more beautiful and larger.)

I think all of you who had checked this show out would also feel like me, so excited and don’t know how to explain our feeling. But that show all of our hard working. So we don’t need to care any negative messages, don’t need to care how the others treaded.

Just REMEMBER : we are all writing a page of HK hardcore’s history. All the things we did, will be marked on the HK hardcore!!!
