Wong sir shows up with a warrant to arrest Ho(Lam Seung Mo). He then urges Fai(Fong Chung Shun) to become a prosecuting witness to testify in court against Ho but Fai claims he has nothing to offer the police.

Kit(Tsang Wai Kuen) is left comatized after being shot by Lai and Ho's men.

Ho's lawyer informs him that he has been refused bail and that his case looks bleak. Ho sends Fai on an errand.

Kwan(Maggie Siu) returns to her office one night to find Fok sir there destroying the diskette. Ho had help Fok avoid prosecution years ago when Fok accidentally killed his lover's husband. And now Ho is threatening to expose him if he does not help him get rid of the diskette. After confessing to Kwan, Fok kills himself out of guilt.

With the diskette destroyed, Kit becomes the only person that can testify against Ho. Sing(Ekin Cheng) obtains permission to visit Kit in the hospital hoping he can get Kit to come out of the coma.

On the day of Ho's trial, the judge is about to call off the case due to lack of evidence when Sing appears with Kit on a wheelchair and produces a copy of the diskette that Kit had made and hidden away. Ho is sentenced to die for all his crimes and Sing is released on the spot and reinstated as a police officer.

Fai secretly plans to help Ho escape while he is being escorted to prison. But during the attempt, he is spotted by Sing and a teammate. They tail Fai's truck to Ho's shipyard where a gunfight breaks out between the two parties. Fai and Sing ends up shooting each other during a standoff. Sing manage to escape death with a non life threatening wound but Fai dies on the scene. Ho is also killed during the raid.

Kit is left paralysed from the waist down. Feeling partly responsible for Kit's injuries, Kwan promises she will take care of him forever. Sing tries to talk her out of it. When Kit sees Kwan crying in the arms of Sing, he decides to withdraw himself from the love triangle. He leaves them a tape biding his farewell and heads for the airport.

On Sing and Kwan's wedding day, Lai(Cheung Fung Lei) shows up with a semi automatic weapon and starts firing into the crowd....
