Wai is an aspiring young graduate with a promising career at Yok Fok Jewelry. He gets to know the boss' daughter Mun while working there and they start dating each other. To help pay his mother's gambling debts, Wai resorts to stealing company funds and is found out by the villainous Cheung. Wai is sentenced to do time in prison. Mun leaves the country in despair. The burden of taking care of the family falls on Wai's brother Chan, a recent immigrant from mainland China.

When Wai is released from prison, his buddy Jun helps him land a job at a night club run by his sister Yeng.

Jun has long been a secret admirer of Wah. Together with Wai, they help Wah break free from the reins of her playboy boyfriend.

Jun is killed in an auto accident. Wai and Wah in the process of comforting each other falls in love. Mun is summoned to return when her father is seriously ill. She is reunited with Wai and a complicated love triangle begins to unfold.
