Sugar Land Stables [SLS] was founded with the soul purpose to give everyone within its walls an experience like no other. We strive to maintain a high quality reputation and to set new standards in the equine world. We want only the best and we strive to achieve excellence in everything we aspire to do, including making champions. Our horses have the conformation and athleticism necessary for the highest levels of competition, but most importantly, they possess the mind for it. Our horses have kind, willing, and intelligent temperaments that allow them to be easily trained and handled by the amateur owner.
Boarders
We want to give our boarders wonderful opportunities to enrich themselves and their horses in both talent and knowledge. By providing some of the best training, facilities, and overall people, we can say we come a step closer to each day, a step closer to perfection. We want our boarders to have great experiences that they will take with them forever. We offer our boarders something no one else can, excellence - pure excellence. Nothing less will cut it for our boarders.
Show
At SLS, we are the same as anyone else, we want to win. Our goal is dominance in the show ring and on the course, nothing less. Sometimes we won't win, but we know that our horses gave it their best, and that is what we want. If they tried as hard as they could, that is enough for us. They won it in our eyes and are treated as if they did win. We are not all about winning, but we are about having our horses perform to their best ability.
Sales
When we sell our horses to one of our customers, we want them to know that the horse they bought is a champion. Trained by us at Sugar Land Stables, we don't want anything less than the best. Any horse we sell comes with a guarantee of success and achievement. We want to sell you the best horses you can buy and have you proud to say, "I own a Sugar Land equine!" We are committed to introducing newcomers to this exciting and fascinating world of horses. Helping our clients to achieve their individual dreams and goals of owning horses for investment, showing, breeding or pleasure! We have already sold horses that have turned into champions. Breeding
Before we breed any horses on our property, we take careful steps to ensure the foal we get, is one who will be just as great as the horses that made the foal. We take into consideration the traits the foal will have and of course the bloodlines of the foal. With us being so careful, it's easy to tell we want to make sure the foal is of champion status. When we breed for other people, we understand what you want out of the foal, and produce that just the same. Our foals are of high quality, and high talent. When you breed to one of our horses, we want you to be confident and happy with your decision. After all, bringing a new life into this world is an extremely important task.

Live Foal Guarantee -
This one's pretty straight forward. If for whatever unhappy reason, your foal doesn't survive? We'll try again at no extra cost. (Same stud/brood combinations only)
Broodmare Leasing -
Are you looking to start breeding horses but aren't committed to owning a broodmare?
Then this program is right for you! Lease one of our mares for a specified amount of time,
during that time, you are free to breed the mare to any [approved] stallion.
Mare Care
Yes, we do offer mare care for any broodmare breeding to one of our stallions.
Training
We want well-trained horses that perform at the highest ability, for you and us. With class and style, our training philosophies offer gentle techniques that work wonders. Our goal is give you a horse that doesn't seem to be working for you and turning it into a new equine.

"I train my horses with love and care. I try not to push my horses too much, and I also try to make each horse's training experience somewhat enjoyable. This enables me to have a closer relationship to my horses, which also helps us in the show ring. When training, I like to take small steps toward our main training goal. This is progressive training, which minimizes a horse’s stress level and helps build the horse up. I incorporate lots of flatwork and jumps that are appropriate to a horse's individual level."
