Rules & Qualifications
- All HL & AHA rules apply!
- For Half-Arabs, a filly/colt is a horse two years of age and under. A mare/stallion is a horse over three years of age. Geldings must be over a year.
- For Half-Arabs, three year old horses can only show in the halter futurities. They can not enter in the filly, colt or gelding halter division as well, only their specific futurity.
- For Arab Sport Horse, a filly/colt is a horse one to three years of age. A junior mare/stallion is a horse four to six years of age. A junior gelding is a horse over one year of age. A senior mare/stallion/gelding is a horse over six years of age.
- Horses entered in the colt, gelding & filly halter futurities must be three years of age.
- Horses entered in the performance futurities must be three years of age.
- Horses entered in the performance jr. horse classes must be three to six years of age.
- Horses CANNOT enter performance Futurities or Jr. Horse classes and Open in the same division. (ie, a three year old could enter the futurity and jr. horse, but not Open)
- For Half-Arabs, horses of all ages are to enter the Open divisions of performance classes. We have created just this one division due to low entries in Half-Arab classes.
- Championship classes are not to be entered and are to be decided on by the judge(s).
- Entry fees are as follow (fees are per horse): $25 per halter class $30 per performance class $20 office fee (pay once per e-mail) $30 per stall (mandatory, amount for entire show)
- If I feel a horse is overshown, I reserve the rights for disqualification from individual or all classes.
- You must put "HL Scottsdale" in the subject line of your entries or it is likely I will miss the e-mail.
- Have fun! And remember, just having the opportunity to show at this show is a huge accomplishment!
